Lid closure catch The lid closure on the new BRAND 1.5 ml microcentrifuge tube protects against accidental opening of the lid.

Wide lid rim The wide lid rim facilitates manual handling.   Microcentrifuge tubes are   subjected to high stress   during the denaturation of   samples in boiling water,   and under general and   thermal demands.   The accompanying graph   shows the lid opening force   needed, in Newton (N).
